What is the Wellness Council?
The Wellness Council of Northeast Georgia is a non-profit coalition of health care providers, agencies, community groups and individuals. There is no membership fee and ANY group or individual may join!
The purpose of the Wellness Council is to increase efficiency and coordination for individuals and groups working to improve the health of the community. The Wellness Council provides a forum to discuss topics related to community wellness. An educational program will also be provided each quarter!

When?
The Wellness Council meets on the THIRD Wednesday of each month at
the Oconee County Cooperative Extension Office behind the Watkinsville Courthouse
Join us for
Healthy Mouth, Health Body
a brown bag lunch and learn event featuring Judy Stephenson, R.D.H. on the connection between oral health and systemic
health, nutrition, and oral health care. Program starts at 11:30 am on September 19th, 2012 @ the Oconee County Civic Center!
Program will also feature a brief presentation on Oconee Food for Kids
There will be no meeting @ Cooperative Extension this month.
